Where you come in:

In this permanent part time (22.8 hours per week - days dependent on preference) position based in Hobart, you'll provide administrative, operational and program support to enable the efficient and effective management of the Tasmanian Save the Children Team. Reporting to the Operations and Business Support Coordinator, Tasmania, you'll work closely with the State Director, Regional Managers, head office and centralised functional teams.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing general administrative, operational and program support
  • Managing the generation, payment and reconciliation of invoices
  • Overseeing the management of current systems including fleet management, parking, staff phones, credit cards and day to day operations such as stationery supplies, cleaning services, petty cash etc
  • Supporting program reporting in Tasmania and assisting teams in their use of information management systems
  • Coordinating the development, review and approval of marketing collateral for Tasmanian programs

Does this sound like you?

You're an adaptable all-rounder, ideally with a background in office management and/or program support and willing and able to learn new systems. Your natural interpersonal skills give you the ability to develop productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You're extremely organised, flexible and self-motivated, with a strong passion to see the team succeed.

This role requires:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of office management, administration protocols and workplace health and safety processes and procedures
  • Exceptional customer service focus (both internal and external stakeholders)
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • High levels of attention to detail and quality
  • Strong Information Communication Technology skills
