In this part-time or full-time (we are flexible for the right candidate) fixed-term position, based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Canberra, you will work on providing expert policy and advocacy advice across a range of aid and development and child rights policy issues. With a focus on the Pacific, you will enhance Save the Children's reputation among key stakeholders as a primary source of policy analysis on children in, or at risk of humanitarian emergencies. You will be part of our dynamic Policy and Advocacy team and report to our Head of Policy.
…You have high-level and robust policy analysis skills, paired with an ability to engage both critically and constructively with government and partners on current and emerging humanitarian affairs. You have an in-depth understanding and proven experience in using an array of advocacy tools to influence change, including private and public advocacy. You have the confidence and good judgement to make difficult decisions in complex and fast-moving policy areas, and you thrive on working in high pressure contexts.
