Save the Children is one of the largest providers of domestic and family violence (DFV) refuges in Queensland - be part of this dynamic network of teams working together to deliver high quality support to single women or women with accompanying children who have experienced DFV.

In this full time, maximum term position (through to end of June 2023) based on the Caboolture region, you'll work as part of a team to provide case management support to women and children escaping domestic violence, both within the accommodation program and outreach work. You'll be part of our Queensland Programs team and report to a Team Leader, working Monday to Friday and participating in an on-call roster.

You're an experienced domestic and family violence practitioner with high levels of initiative and flexibility alongside cultural sensitivity and knowledge. You're able to respond calmly and effectively in crisis and complex situations. You possess a thorough understanding of the impact of domestic violence on women and children and are able to apply that within a trauma-informed practice framework.
