Save the Children Australia is one of the nation's leading child rights organisations. As Media Manager, you will help maintain Save the Children Australia's position as the nation's leading voice for and with children. Using the media - print, broadcast, online, social and new media - you will advocate for the most vulnerable children at home and abroad, particularly in the Pacific, and will ensure Save the Children continues to be the go-to agency in humanitarian crises.
We're ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children's rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like an earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton, you will continue to position Save the Children Australia as the nation's leading children's agency in both humanitarian emergencies and development, and as an authoritative voice on issues affecting vulnerable children in Australia and overseas. You will be part of our Campaigns and Public Affairs team and report to our Head of Media.
