We need your help to lead and develop our change management approach, coordinating communications across different areas of Save the Children Australia.

Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton, you will be a core contributor to the change and communications strategy and management for projects within the portfolio. The portfolio is central to driving strategic change and innovation. It incorporates a variety of small and large-scale projects delivering everything from system implementations and process improvement through to business model diversification and M&A. You will be part of our Finance and Support Services team and report to our Director of Strategy and Transformation.

You will make an impact by:

  • Plan, lead and co-ordinate Save the Children Australia's change management strategy, developing an overarching plan and key messaging and enabling the effective deployment of comprehensive stakeholder engagement maps and plans
  • Act as change and communications business partner to a number of key strategic change programmes, working in partnership with the project lead and internal communications managers to develop impactful change management and communications solutions
  • For key complex, strategically important initiatives perform the initiative's change manager role. Apply agile change management practices supporting delivery teams as they respond to rapidly changing business needs through iteratively identifying and reducing organisational change and people risks

Does this sound like you?

You have a proven track record in owning the change and communications strategy across an organisation. You will have deep technical expertise in change and communications that enables you to excel in the role as the change and communications manager in key complex projects. You are an adaptable, highly organised all-rounder, with a high level of attention to detail and a collaborative and can-do manner.

This role requires:

  • 5 years experience as a Change and Communications manager for projects
  • 3 years experience as Change and Communications manager across an organisation
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and documentation skills
