Save The Children

Can you write the words that will reach people's hearts, inspiring empathy with the plight of vulnerable children and motivating readers to donate their hard-earned dollars to a worthy cause? Save the Children does amazing things; ensuring children in some of the toughest places in the world are kept healthy, in school, and protected. But we can't do it without funds. You will play a crucial role in telling our stories to engage donors and raise funds to support these vital programs. Your words will help save young lives, teach refugee children to read, and protect little ones from abuse.

Note: This position will only be open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants. The filling of this position is intended to constitute a special/equal opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), and section 57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1996.

Save the Children is no ordinary not-for-profit.

We're ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children's rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy and live a life free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like an earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
