In this changing and competitive world, we need you to be proactive and take action to look after the financial health of our Shared Services and Social Ventures. A dual role which combines your strong financial analysis expertise and strategic insight with your ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Shared Services include Finance, Risk, Strategy, IT, and HR with the focus being on effective cost management and stream-lined processes. Social Ventures are typically 'start-up' in nature and require agile thinking and excellent commercial support for strong business growth.

In this part-time permanent position (4 days per week), based in Carlton*, you will provide strategic insight to our Shared Services and Social Ventures, along with driving our management and financial accounting reports and analysis. You will be part of our Commercial Finance team and report to our Commercial Finance Manager.

You possess the ability to make complex financial concepts clear to people without a financial background, and your ability to see the strategic implications of different scenarios will mean that the team seeks you out for your insights and commercial advice. You are highly organised, thrive under pressure, and are pragmatic and solutions focused, while keeping a keen eye on the latest trends in reporting and use of data and systems.

Position Description - Finance Business Partner, Shared Services and Social Ventures
*While COVID-19 social distancing restrictions are in place, this role works remotely (i.e. from home or an alternative location). Once the pandemic restrictions are lifted, the role will be based in our office in Carlton.
