Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Western Sydney, you will be responsible for ensuring the op shops in the cluster are running efficiently and effectively, delivering the required results for Save the Children Australia. You will be an integral part of our Retail team and report to the Area Manager. Travel between stores in the cluster will be required, as well as occasional weekend and evening work.

You will make an impact by:

  • Supporting the retail team to achieve goals and deliver maximised profits to Save the Children
  • Effectively managing overall budget and strategy for all shops in your cluster
  • Ensuring the full implementation of induction and training for new volunteers
  • Managing merchandise and stock to maximise sales
  • Ensuring all operational and safety compliance
  • Managing your team of store staff and volunteers to success

You are a dynamic, organised, passionate, and people-orientated person who loves to think outside the box. You're an existing Store Manager or Multi-site Manager looking to take the next step in your retail career. You are passionate about people and retail and want to use your skills to contribute to an amazing and well respected not-for-profit organisation.

This role requires:

  • Significant retail experience in a Store Manager role or higher
  • A current driver's license and clean driving record
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to load and unload products/equipment from vans
  • Exceptional merchandising and stock management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • An absolute passion for retail and high level of self-motivation
  • A highly organised and adaptable approach
