Where you come in:

In this part-time fixed term (30-38 hours per week through to end of September 2021) position, based in our Ceduna office, you'll support positive outcomes for families by assisting with the delivery, implementation, and review of the program's operations with particular attention to support for children and their rights. You'll be part of our Ceduna team and report to our Team Leader.

You will make an impact by:

  • Identifying and responding to the needs of children in the program in partnership with their caregiver/s
  • Providing direction for the Supported Accommodation team around tailored support plans, age-appropriate activities and progress
  • Supporting and promoting attachment within families accessing the service
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the program

You're committed to ensuring service delivery to children and their families is of high quality. You're active, creative and flexible in your approach to working with children and families and are not afraid of a challenge.

This role requires:

  • A strong passion for service quality with a solution-focused mindset
  • Experience working with Aboriginal families
  • Experience working collaboratively with clients and other services/agencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an honest, friendly approach
  • Availability to work Saturdays or Sundays on roster basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's licence
