We're seeking applications for 2 x Child Support Specialists to join us at Bridges and Gareema refuge as part of the Southeast Queensland Domestic and Family Violence team.
Bridges refuge is advertising for a part time, fixed term position (30.4 hours per week, through to end of June 2023, with strong potential for extension) based in Brisbane., Working between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday, you will partner with children and their caregivers to provide short-term crisis intervention and transition support as part of our Child Centred, Trauma Informed Practice Framework.
Gareema refuge is advertising for a part-time position (9 days or 68.4 hours per fortnight secondment opportunity until January 2023 based in Brisbane. Working between Monday - Friday you will partner with children and their caregivers to assess needs, develop, and implement case plans, support transitions and promote the importance of safe and regulated environments through our Child Centred, Trauma Informed Framework.

You have strong experience within the domestic and family violence sector and are passionate about children's rights. You respond well in crisis situations, and you're skilled at working with children who have experienced trauma. You are a team player but able to work independently and take initiative while working within the role boundaries.
