Where you come in:

In this casual position working across North-Western Adelaide, you'll support early childhood development and school readiness skills, and will facilitate improved relationships between parents and children. Working across different sites as part of our mobile service, you'll work in a team to create an environment of trust and respect with families and children. You'll be part of our Play2Learn team and report to our Team Leader.

You will make an impact by:

  • Assisting to develop and deliver early learning programs
  • Working within a team to ensure programs are age and developmentally appropriate
  • Creating a welcoming and safe environment to encourage active participation
  • Growing an understanding of early learning amongst families and sharing your knowledge with community members

You're motivated, eager to learn and not afraid to jump in feet first to help make our programs successful.

This role requires:

  • Experience working with children 0-5 and families in a group setting
  • DHS Child Related Employment Clearance - essential
  • Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care - essential

Position Description - Child Development Assistant, Play2Learn Adelaide
