Do you want to work in partnership with children and families in your community to empower positive change in their lives? Save the Children's Child Wellbeing Programs work in early intervention and prevention, supporting positive educational and wellbeing outcomes for local children at a critical period in their learning and development. As part of a committed team, you'll deliver activities to children that promote child and family wellbeing.

In this part time (22 hours per week during school terms) fixed term role through to end of June 2021 (with potential for extension), you'll work with Primary School aged children and their families. Your main responsibility will be the co-facilitation of Group Wellbeing Sessions to groups of children alongside the Wellbeing Worker. Based in Darwin, you'll be part of our NT Programs team and report to the Team Leader.

Your ability to relate to children and families along with your community knowledge and connections will be invaluable in this role. You're known for your ability to develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with parents, carers, children and young people, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families. You have a strong work ethic and you can confidently manage multiple tasks at a time.
