Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton, you will work on improving our financial performance through the extraction and delivery of accurate marketing lists for all of Save the Children's mail, digital and telemarketing campaigns. You will work closely with stakeholders in defining the segments from which you will then extract the required donor lists. These marketing campaigns support revenue growth, retention of supporters and promotion of services. You will be part of our Supporter Engagement team and report to our Head of Analytics.

You will make an impact by:

  • Developing, maintaining and optimising data extraction for multi-segment Major and minor campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders,
  • Developing automated campaign extraction processes,
  • Developing automated supporter journeys,
  • Supporting the team maintaining its supporter databases and on-going analytics for supporter segmentation, targeted marketing,

This role requires:

  • Demonstrated abilities to work closely with stakeholders in defining marketing segments and performing the required data extraction
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Raisers Edge CRM platforms
  • Demonstrated aptitude for attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Ability to develop, build and maintain a range of working relationships (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and deliver projects to agreed deadlines
  • Commitment to Save the Children Australia's purpose and values
  • High levels of self-motivation and initiative
  • Professional and courteous communication skills
  • High levels of confidentiality and integrity (relating to both data and verbal communication)
