This is a unique opportunity for a Digital Marketer with Fundraising experience to step into a role where they will lead and be accountable for achieving Save the Children's donor acquisition and retention targets through lead generation and digital marketing programs. This role will also provide scope to support other acquisition channels and strategies.

Using their skills and experience, this Acquisition Manager will contribute to broader acquisition and fundraising goals, ensuring Save the Children's work is possible all over Australia and around the world.

Where you come in:

In this full-time permanent position, based anywhere in Australia you will manage our online donor acquisition campaigns, working closely with our digital team and external digital marketing agency to achieve targets. This role supports the work of the Individual Giving Acquisition team, it is of key importance in both the acquisition and first-year retention of new financial supporters. You will be part of our Fundraising Team, within Supporter Engagement and report to our Head of Individual Giving Acquisition.

You will make an impact by:

  • Inspiring members of the public to become monthly, or one-off, donors to Save the Children
  • Taking on leadership and accountability of donor acquisition campaign budgets and results
  • Managing external partner agencies to ensuring quality, volume and income targets and met
  • Using reports and analytics to make data-driven decisions
  • Retaining new monthly donors in their first-year of support by ensuring they have an excellent experience and receive high quality communications

You are a skilled digital marketer with experience in fundraising and multi-channel acquisition campaigns. You approach fundraising with energy and enthusiasm, inspiring those around you. You use data and insights to manage and optimise fundraising campaigns. You build strong, robust relationships with agencies to deliver the best possible results. You are organised, accountable and deliver to target and on time.

This role requires:

  • Experience in the development, measurement, and implementation of digital campaigns to generate revenue and optimal return on investment
  • Experience in leading donor acquisition (of both regular giving and one-off donors at scale) via digital campaigns; achieving targets and improving performance over time
  • Experience using Facebook Business Manager (and other social media or online marketing platforms) to build, launch and monitor advertising campaigns
  • Experience managing Lead Generation programs
  • Demonstrated experience in using data and evidence to inform decision making
