The SANE Group also consists of the Anne Deveson Research Centre (ADRC) and the Dax Centre. The ADRC was established in 2018 to conduct research to drive social outcomes for people affected by complex mental health issues. The Dax Centre provides artists with lived experience of mental health issues opportunities for creative expression while fostering social change. Founded in 2012, but with a history spanning back to the 1940s.

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Lead is responsible for leading our impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation activity and helping us grow our capability in this area.

We have made it a key organisational priority to ensure that our impact is maximised and demonstrated through evidence-informed planning, robust measurement and learning; this role is essential to making this a reality.

This role will be responsible for finalising and leading the implementation of SANE’s new Impact Measurement Framework which has been developed over the past 18 months. This work will include coaching and mentoring program teams to utilise the framework and key tools across a range of initiatives. These include SANE’s digital mental health services, and behavioural change and stigma reduction initiatives.

On an ongoing basis, this role will be responsible for driving our monitoring and evaluation portfolio. The will include leading a small team in coordinating and supervising the delivery of monitoring and evaluation activities required for accountability, learning and adaptive management. The role will also lead key strategic projects.

This role will suit someone who loves to coach and mentor others to grow their monitoring and evaluation skills and provide support to drive improvement across the SANE group in the generation and use of evidence to make a real difference for people affected by complex mental health issues.
