As a digital marketer and content creator you will be able to lead, design, create and deliver marketing campaigns and programs for clients as well as supporting the expansion and growth of the company’s services. You will manage marketing projects for clients from beginning to end and also lead and manage any internal marketing projects. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of all aspects of marketing to ensure a smooth and timely rollout for all projects. This is a contractor position with potential for regular, ongoing hours.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Content creation and copy-writing for social media and Google ads
  • Build campaign strategies, in order to produce a succinct & clear marketing message
  • Creation of customer avatars and the subsequent build of ideal target audiences for each individual campaign
  • Define and polish campaign objectives so as to deliver maximum ROI
  • Analyse campaign metrics using the stats presented to refine ad sets, chasing maximum ROI
  • Collate monthly ad campaign data into monthly reports to be presented to account managers
  • Strategise monthly social media campaigns
  • Create content that demonstrates cultural capability (this includes an understanding of issues faced by First Nations people, as well as content that is inspiring and empowering.
  • Project Management support with client projects and internal marketing projects

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager, Linkedin and Google Ads
  • The successful applicant will demonstrate an innate aptitude for digital marketing strategy and copy-writing
  • Natural people skills - which allow you to work within a team environment and directly with client
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and prioritise
  • Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people in a manner that is respectful and demonstrates cultural capability
