About Safe Futures Foundation

Safe Futures Foundation (SFF) has been delivering programs for women and children experiencing family violence, control and abuse for many years, and is the largest provider of crisis refuge responses in Victoria. SFF has a broad range of family violence responses and a wide reach as it responds to the needs of women and children who have experienced family violence each year across Victoria.

About the role

SFF is currently seeking to recruit a volunteer Board Director. The role carries the typical expectations of a Board Director in providing strategic direction and governance to the entity. In addition the Board is seeking an individual who can bring a depth of experience particularly in the areas of marketing and communications.

The SFF Board meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month at 6.30pm in Doncaster. Board members are expected to serve on Board Sub-Committees which meet on an as required time basis.
