About the role

As a Positive Behaviour Support Mentor/Coach, you will be responsible for embedding best practice person-centred active support and positive behaviour support for people who use Melba’s services. You will play a crucial role in a multi-disciplinary team that provides responsive customer service to ensure all individual human rights are protected, and that Melba’s commitment to a zero tolerance framework for abuse and neglect is upheld.

About you

You are highly experienced in the provision of support to people living with disability; you could be a skilled Disability Support Worker or someone who practices positive behaviour support in accordance with best practice frameworks. You are strongly committed to Melba's human rights and social justice orientation and relish the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of many participants.
