You will lead and work with a small team responsible for the effective management of all billing and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding arrangements across the organisation, thus ensuring the financial sustainability of Melba. You will ensure all statutory and legal requirements are met to a high standard whilst enhancing the current systems by developing and implementing best practice. In addition to this, you will provide exceptional customer service and communicate any changes that affect the way that Melba bills the services it provides, so that key internal and external stakeholders are well informed.

You have a strong bookkeeping or accounting background and come from the disability or a related human services sector. You have a friendly and customer orientated style and high levels of energy and enthusiasm. You have strong attention to detail and bring with you an analytical and process thinking approach. You are confident working with a range of different systems and can identify opportunities to develop and improve processes. You share Melba Support Services’ commitment to social justice and human rights and derive significant satisfaction from contributing to the empowerment of people with disability.
