Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) has an important role in facilitating the delivery of best practice primary health care across western Victoria, which comprises 21 local government areas and a total population of approximately 618,000 people. It is a not for profit membership-based organisation which works collaboratively with health services, health providers, community organisations and individuals. The organisation identifies priority health issues and develops region wide and localised programs that directly respond to health care needs. This includes delivering a best practice model of service commissioning and improvement.

Reporting to the CEO, in collaboration with your peers you will bring the organisation’s strategic direction, plans and objectives to life. You will do this by harnessing strong internal relationships so that information is shared and leveraged to enable WVPHN to continue to evolve its capability and offerings. You will map out and engage with stakeholders and groups and develop an accountability framework to assess its success. You will take the lead of communications and marketing initiatives to increase brand and community awareness of WVPHN. You will also be responsible for the Aboriginal Health portfolio and enhance the commitment of WVPHN to respond to the needs of Aboriginal communities across the region.

You are tertiary qualified and could come from a number of backgrounds where you have been responsible for the formulation and execution of strategy. A natural people leader, you possess exceptional communication skills and are highly experienced in developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. You have a strong attention to detail and are analytical in your approach.
