About the organisation

Western Victoria Primary Health Network has an important role in facilitating the delivery of best practice primary health care across the region, which comprises 21 local government areas and a total population of approximately 618,000 people.  It is a not for profit membership based organisation which works collaboratively with health services, health providers, community organisations and individuals. The organisation identifies priority health issues and develops region wide and localised programs that directly respond to health care needs. This includes delivering a best practice model of service commissioning and improvement.

About the role

The role of CEO is a key leadership function both within and outside of the organisation. You will inspire, lead and develop a cohesive team of committed staff, optimising corporate culture internally and health outcomes externally for the community. In addition you will interact with an extremely wide range of stakeholders, bringing your communication, presentation and strategy development capability to the task of developing committed partnerships. You will work with these partners in co-designing truly creative solutions for existing and emerging health challenges.

About you

You are an experienced Leader with a grasp of the health care sector and a record of having worked effectively with an extremely wide range of counterparties. You have an inspiring presence and a capacity to relate to people at all levels of seniority, from the local community to Ministers of Government. You are known for your energy and enthusiasm and have a commitment for achieving outstanding outcomes.
