Melba is a highly inclusive and extremely principled service provider with an absolute commitment to zero tolerance of abuse and neglect, and are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual with significant experience in disability to join their dedicated team in this senior leadership role!
Melba is responsible for several homes in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs supporting NDIS participants who, for various reasons, have chosen to live alone. You will be responsible for the leadership and supervision of the ISA Outcomes Leads (House Supervisors) across these locations, ensuring that they are supported and empowered to provide high quality services to these complex residents who can present at times with behaviours of protest. In addition, you will ensure that all administrative and budgetary objectives are met, and high-quality relationships with a range of stakeholders are maintained.
You have substantial experience in disability services. You have a strong grasp of all the funding models which apply to disability services, and your strong attention to detail enables you to ensure compliance with NDIS and other disability related legislation is met. You are an exceptional people leader who is able to achieve high levels of engagement amongst staff. You are an effective administrator with the capacity to manage large budgets and practical issues such as complex rostering and performance management.
In this role you will be a key member of the leadership team in the Eastern region and will contribute to effective decision-making across the eastern services.
