Your new role:

Sacred Heart Local assists people who, socially and financially experience disadvantage. In the NDIS context, our clients need assistance with challenges of a psycho-social nature.

Working full-time you will be coordinating support for NDIS clients and provide direction to a small team of support staff. Your day will be with great variety where you will be visiting clients, attending planning meetings, engaging with service providers, liaising with NDIS; everything to help your clients have access to the support they need.

This role is very autonomous and you will have a positive impact on people’s lives. You will be part of the team that shapes this program.

We're looking for:

  • Previous experience in service coordination within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (essential)
  • Proven ability to manage, supervise and provide leadership to a dedicated team in delivering high quality services to clients
  • Demonstrated experience in the establishment and management of models for effective client service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts
  • Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone
