Your new role

We are currently recruiting for a part time Registered Nurse. Our Clinical Care team provides high quality effective support for the clients in our Residential Service. The Registered Nurse will supervise care staff and liaise with all Allied Health providers to provide holistic care.

Your day-to-day

A typical day will involve:

  • Clinical care meetings with your colleagues
  • Supervising care staff and volunteers
  • Coordinating Allied Health staff
  • Undertaking clinical assessment and care planning and case coordination to meet the diverse needs of the residents
  • Maintaining relationships with GPs, mental health services and other external health care providers
  • Undertaking assessment and documentation to support ACFI funding

We're looking for someone

  • Who is able to effectively respond to the needs of younger people who live with mental illness and have experienced trauma and homelessness.
  • With post graduate experience in aged care
  • Well developed clinical care skills
  • Knowledge of complex mental health issues
  • Who is motivated, keen to learn, team focused and with strong interpersonal skills
  • Who demonstrates compassion and a commitment to social justice
  • Who is fully Covid-19 vaccinated including their third vaccination
