Your new role

This newly established, part time role (22.8 hours per week) within the Fundraising team is directly responsible for building deep connections with people who are thinking of giving the most important gift they will give in their lifetime.

The Fundraising team at Sacred Heart Mission are a successful, close knit group of professionals. They are well known internally for their deep connections in the community, their relentless passion to achieve and the positive culture they have developed.

Working three days a week, and directed by a new Bequest Strategy, you will use existing retention and acquisition tactics, outlined in the current four-year fundraising strategy, to build strong and positive relationships with existing bequest donors as well as the growing prospect pool.

Your day-to-day

  • Establish and maintain a connection to current confirmed bequest donors.
  • Work closely with the Relationship Manager to establish a stewardship plan, aligning with the work of the rest of the Fundraising team.
  • Meet with and steward current bequest prospects using the above stewardship plans.
  • Develop a suite of up to date marketing materials.
  • Manage a portfolio of middle donors to help grow your program.
  • Uphold our exceptional brand reputation to secure our future and strengthen our bottom line, as defined in Sacred Heart Mission’s 10-year strategic plan.
