About the role!

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. Reporting to Senior Outreach Manager, your primary responsibility is to provide advanced occupational therapy services to the participants of both in Outreach and Residential services.

The successful applicant will work with individuals to achieve their own optimal state of mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing by developing interventions that focus on enhancing existing skills, creating opportunities, restoring skills, modifying or adapting the environment or activity, and preventing relapse.

About You

In order to be successful in the role, you will have the following key attributes:

  • Extensive experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the mental health, disability or not for profit community services sectors.
  • Demonstrated competency in writing comprehensive reports for stakeholders including NDIS, MHC and WAPHA.
  • Experience in application of relevant clinical assessments and intervention s to address the needs of the individual
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with people from varied backgrounds

Qualifications and Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
  • Current drivers’ licence with use of own vehicle (km allowance paid)
