About Us

Rural Health Connect is an online platform that links people to psychologists via video conferencing. We are a social enterprise that was created to address an urgent need for better access to mental health professionals in rural Australia. Due to COVID-19 our technology is now needed by people and psychologists everywhere.

We have been developing our software over several years. In a couple of weeks that development will be completed and we will be looking to enter a rapid growth phase.

About the role

We see our role as not only connecting people to psychologists, but also being a source of expert information and advice on mental health related topics specific to rural Australia. We are looking for someone to help us communicate our information and messages to the wider community.

Ideally you would be:

• Experienced in content creation
• An original and creative thinker
• Able to grow audiences
• Keen to work as part of a small and growing team
• From rural Australia and have an understanding of life in the bush

This position is volunteer in the short term however there is opportunity for it to become a paid position in the not-to-distant future.
