About the Role

We are recruiting a Fundraising Coordinator, with fundraising or marketing experience, to join our Donor Development team. In this permanent full-time position, you will report to the Donor Development Manager and a play a vital role in delivering key direct response fundraising activities and initiatives.

You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end delivery of multi-channelled fundraising campaigns playing a vital role in funding our life-saving work. The successful candidate will join a passionate, high performing team, and be uniquely placed to work across the organisation with frontline team members in Inspectorate, clinics, shelters and advocacy to develop powerful campaigns sharing amazing stories with animal lovers.

About You

You are an engaged and highly motivated individual with fundraising or marketing experience, and values that strongly align to our mission of ‘ending cruelty to all animals’. You are a strong communicator, who is creative, curious, and capable of coordinating multiple time sensitive campaigns. You understand the importance of evaluating data to measure performance and are driven to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of multi-channelled direct marketing campaigns to acquire and retain donors, working across fundraising appeals, donor acquisition, and regular giving programs.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of donor care and retention strategies.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of the data and compliance with the privacy requirements.
  • Preparing clear and concise written briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Obtaining competitive quotes and tracking campaign budgets to effectively deliver outcomes.
  • Coordinating the development of program content, the development of artwork and copy.
  • Managing supplier relationships for the delivery of appeals.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by effectively communicating and working collaboratively with peers across all departments

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role that requires strong organisation and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and coordinate various deliverables
  • High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environment
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Although sound knowledge of and understanding of fundraising practices will be highly regarded, relevant experience in marketing roles will also be highly valued.
  • Willingness to undergo a national police check
  • A valid driver’s license
