RSL Victoria leads, represents and provides services to over 270 Sub-Branches across the state and currently has over 160,000 members. The RSL through its staff and volunteers provides assistance to past and present defence force personnel and their families with a range of services focused on the DVA Wellbeing model for veterans, in Education, Employment, Health, Housing, Financial Support, Social Support & Connection, and Recognition of Service.
THE ROLE :
- Design and implement a training capability framework and quality assurance framework for the Veteran Services Directorate.
- Plan and implement training development programs for both volunteer and paid Veteran Services Directorate staff.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate training and development activities.
- Training needs analysis duties related to the Resilient Veterans Strategy 2021-2026.
- Conduct training needs analysis related to the activities of the Veteran Services Directorate and the Resilient Veterans Strategy 2021-2026.
- Design and implement a training capability framework for the Veteran Services Directorate.
- Planning for the development and growth of Veteran Services staff groups.
- Participate in the development of a continuous quality improvement framework for the Veteran Services Directorate.
- Plan and implement individual development programs for both volunteer and paid Veteran Services Directorate positions.
- Plan, conduct, coordinate, and evaluate training and development activities.
- Create and manage a training development budget.
- Other governance-related tasks as directed by the Mental Health Advisor.
YOU :
- Commitment to promoting the Mission and Values of the RSL.
- Qualifications and experience in Education or Human Resources, and WorkplaceTraining & Assessment are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business learning needs and develop strategies and associated plans.
- Previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including in instructional design.
- Experience in Microsoft technologies – Office 365.
