You are ethical, self-motivated and committed to making a difference for people with disability. You are focused on empowering clients with choice and control. You have exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills and advocacy skills.

Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre has over 40 years’ experience in working with our stakeholders to create opportunities for people to be themselves in the community. We operate a range of support services for people with disabilities on a 1:1 basis as well as for group activities.

About you:

• No minimum qualifications required as we believe that values and mutual interests are more important
• Willingness to work 1-1 with a client who needs support with all activities of daily living
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to support our client to access the family pool and undertake exercise program
• Willingness to learn Supportability (rostering and client management system)
• Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of WH&S principles
• Driving Licence and own vehicle
• A current Australian form of photo ID or International passport
• A National Police Criminal Record check from within the last 12 months
• A current Working with Children check
• A current First Aid and/or CPR certificate
