Royal Life Saving is looking for a motivated and talented individual to join the organisation’s innovative Research and Policy team. This position provides an opportunity to drive meaningful change through research, policy and a culture of evidence-based advocacy.

Royal Life Saving is committed to reducing drowning and promoting swimming, water safety and lifesaving across Australia. The impact and effectiveness of Royal Life Saving research, campaigns, policies and programs depends on our ability to create, communicate and partner across a range of research and policy disciplines.

Our work is guided by the Australian Water Safety Strategy, which we develop and promote alongside a range of sector and Government Partners. This is an exciting time for the water safety sector, with the upcoming launch of the Australian Water Safety Strategy 2030.

We are seeking an individual with a keen interest in the field of research, and translating insights into policy, advocacy and programs. You will enjoy working as part of a team, and with a range of passionate stakeholders and partners, and be interested in take the lead in one or many of our key research themes.

Applicants should have a Postgraduate level qualification in a Public Health, Research or Policy related discipline. Royal Life Saving is supportive of continuous learning and encourages further study. We are open to research partnerships and flexible work arrangements.
