Royal Freemasons Springtime is renowned for its focus on the social well-being and physical activities of its residents and culturally diverse community. We are now seeking a reliable, creative and passionate Lifestyle Coordinator to continue and create wonderful opportunities and lifestyle choices within a person centred model.

About You

As a focused, highly organised, and a self-motivated Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be required to plan, develop, and deliver an innovative activities program for our residents. As a person who can build and maintain relationships, you will be required to oversee and motivate our Lifestyle Assistants and Volunteers as well as work closely with Therapy, and Care Staff. More importantly you will posses a positive demeanour and warm smile to brighten the day of our residents. You must be able to relate and communicate well to older people particularly those living with dementia or a disability.

The successful candidate will have leadership skills, bring energy and enthusiasm into this role, will be service oriented, possess exceptional people skills and be passionate about providing quality aged care programs for our residents.

Key Requirements

  • At minimum Certificate IV in Community Services (Leisure and Lifestyle) or similar
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a similar role within the Health Care or Aged Care environment with exposure to residents with Dementia
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and clear written and spoken English
  • A passion for working in Aged Care and Lifestyle
  • Ability to work with a team and excellent customer services skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft office
  • Smart phone and access to home internet required
