Opportunity to join our Tenancy Team assisting clients at risk of eviction and homelessness

We are seeking a motivated advocate to join RLC’s Tenancy Legal Advice Service. You will provide advice and minor advocacy to clients and contribute to the community legal education, publications and law reform projects of the service.

The position is open to non-solicitors. Some experience in residential tenancy law is desirable but consideration will be given to applicants with other relevant experience in the legal and/or community sectors.

Status: Part time, 31.5 hours per week (9 day fortnight), fixed term until 30 September 2022.

Salary and benefits: $85,078.85 - $ 90,708.58 p.a. (pro-rata) depending on qualifications and experience.

Superannuation and annual leave loading is paid in addition to this and salary packaging* is available. RLC offers a flexible workplace and time in lieu options.

* As a Public Benevolent Institution, Redfern Legal Centre is able to offer staff generous salary packaging options. The tax savings for a full time staff member choosing to take full advantage of the salary packaging option mean that their take home salary may be increased by up to $6,000 per annum​​.
