The organisation intends to build a significant fundraising field force to solicit new supporters on behalf of its stakeholders. Rippling’s goal is to become the most cost efficient, effective and ethical recruiter of regular giving supporters in Australia.

About the Role

A highly motivated, dynamic sales leader, with hands on experience of building, managing and coaching face to face sales/fundraising teams (50+ field staff) is sought to take on the role of field operations as the  National Sales Manager.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the recruitment, development, and management of the organisation’s field force, with the goal of building a world class “best practice” fundraising programme. In addition to providing inspirational leadership to the fundraising teams, you will play a crucial role in assisting the CEO to shape fundraising strategy and develop the organisation’s performance-oriented culture. You will also be expected to provide hands on field coaching until such time as an effective coaching and training infrastructure is fully established. This is a permanent, full time role.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • A minimum of 5+ years field management experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • An impressive track record of leading multiple teams, comprising 30+field staff to achieve challenging sales targets
  • Personal experience of direct sales / fundraising in a retail, residential environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with an engaging and energetic leadership style
  • A strong commercial acumen with the ability to think and act both strategically and operationally
  • The ability to engage analytically, coupled with an innovative mindset
  • A roll up your sleeve, “can do” approach when it comes to leading from the front.
  • A genuine interest in fundraising and philanthropy
  • Overall, be a highly engaging sales leader who can drive results, make quality driven decisions, and cultivate a high performing, ethical fundraising culture.
