Position Overview

Lead the People and Culture team to provide human resources, learning and development, employee engagement, rostering and scheduling, HR systems and continuous improvement support to the Richmond Group (Richmond Fellowship Tasmania and Richmond Futures). This position also provides industrial relations advice and liaises with lawyers over any matter requiring more formal advice.

Provision of line management support to all employees within the function as well as conducting professional supervision for own cohort of employees is required.

Period of Employment

This position is full time with a maximum term of 3 years. It is subject to a 6-month probation if applicable.

Accountability

This position will support the strategic, operational and cultural direction of the Richmond Group responsible for ensuring that there is a strong emphasis on growth, productivity, efficiency and service quality. The Richmond Group prides itself on the people we support being at the centre of all we do.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or Law.
  2. Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership position.
  3. Leadership training either formal or otherwise.
  4. Experience undertaking professional supervision and providing it in a corporate services context.
  5. Project management qualification or significant experience developing and executing projects.
  6. Strong governance and financial acumen.
  7. Understanding of Industrial Relations environment

Desirable

  1. Experience working within community services
