Country Education Partnership (CEP) is a not-for-profit organisation that works for and on behalf of all rural and remote education communities. It strives to ensure that learners within these communities have access to the highest quality of education from 0-18+ years across government and non-government education organisations. An independent, grassroots body, CEP believes that the provision of quality rural education is an essential component for the economic prosperity and social fabric of the nation, especially the sustainability, growth and future of rural Australia.

This key appointment reports to the Committee of Management through the Chair and is responsible for leading the organisation to achieve high performance across four strategic pillars of advocacy & representation; innovation & place-based solutions; connections & partnerships; and communication & knowledge-sharing. It also includes responsibility for building a strong, collaborative team, broader business management aspects and extensive stakeholder engagement with members, government, business and the community across all levels.

This unique opportunity provides plenty of scope to build on what has already been achieved. It will appeal to a highly motivated person with extensive senior leadership experience in sectors such as education, community or not-for-profit, particularly in rural and remote settings.
