About the Role

Flying Doctors Victoria are now accepting applications for a permanent full time People & Culture Advisor role within our tight-knit and expanding People & Culture department.

With a strong focus on leadership coaching, the successful applicant will be the primary business partner for our Mobile Patient Care (MPC) department, a vital health service providing non-emergency patient transport from 21 road bases located throughout Victoria and New South Wales. This is also supported by our aircraft at Essendon Airport.

Reporting to the P&C Manager, the P&C Advisor is responsible for providing effective advice and guidance to the MPC Leadership Team and staff on all People and Culture matters. The role will work with the Operations Manager and Regional Managers to develop People Plans delivering across culture and engagement initiatives, people processes, performance matters, change management, industrial relations and workforce planning.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or business related discipline
  • Previous experience in an HR generalist support or related HR role
  • Coaching capability enabling managers to deliver effective HR outcomes
  • Exposure to Industrial Relations and managing complex people issues
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting HR related policies and legislation
  • Project management and customer service skills

Applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights and will be required to provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian WWCC if successful.
