Mental Health Clinician - Bushfire Recovery
Full-time or part-time opportunity, maximum term contract until 30 June 2022 with the possibility of extension, 85-95K base salary (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation and salary packaging.
RFDS are now accepting applications for Mental Health Clinicians with experience in trauma, grief and loss counselling to deliver outreach services to bushfire affected communities in East Gippsland. This role will provide clinical mental health care for individuals, families and emergency services personnel within a flexible service model including face to face, phone and video appointments.
This diverse role involves regular travel providing counselling/mental health consultation to clients and will work within a passionate and supportive multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, with opportunities for professional development and regular clinical supervision is available. Candidates with availability for part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) up to full-time will be considered. A car, mobile phone and laptop will be provided for the successful applicant.
Please note - this role will require travel across the East Gippsland region and as such, a driver’s licence will be essential. RFDS does not conduct home visits so all outreach will be conducted within a community or health setting.
