Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aero medical and health services for people in rural and remote Australia. RFDS Victoria supports the work of the Flying Doctor throughout Australia and is also growing its services across the State.
In Victoria the RFDS works in partnership with a number of community health organisations across the State to improve the health and well-being of our rural and regional communities. We believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary health care services.
Based in Richmond within easy reach of public transport and reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Flying Doctors are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors attending Head Office and any enquiries that come through to our general reception area.
The successful applicant will display a friendly, open and enthusiastic disposition with the ability to carry out general reception and administrative scheduling tasks in support of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board members and CEO. Other duties include:
The successful applicant will have an excellent phone manner, exceptional communication skills and high standards of personal presentation. A high level of administrative accuracy, strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality requirements will be essential. The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, possess excellent organisational skills and be able show initiative.
Please note that this is a full-time ongoing position and would suit someone with at least three years prior experience.
