The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is one of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world. Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive primary healthcare and 24-hour emergency service, from nine strategic bases, to those who live, work and travel throughout Queensland.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy has responsibility for significantly growing fundraising and philanthropy revenue to support RFDS and its organisational strategic initiatives. As a key member of the Leadership team the role provides strategic thought leadership to overarching organisational capacity building needs.
Key focus areas include:
You have proven leadership and relationship skills with demonstrated experience in building a successful fundraising program across all fundraising functions including; regular giving, major donors, bequests, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising. You will lead your team to achieve ambitious fundraising targets, whilst providing a strong level of mentoring, development and support to your direct and indirect reports.
