Treasurer - Board Member (voluntary)

Restoring Hope Inc

Restoring Hope Inc. is an Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) registered charity based in Melbourne. Our aim is to ensure that people affected by childhood sexual abuse are supported through their recovery journey. Since its establishment in 2014, Restoring Hope has steadily grown and has become a well-known organisation within the professional services industries. Restoring Hope has enormous potential to continue to change the lives of many young people throughout Metro and Regional Victoria, and so is looking to expand its reach in the greater community, to find passionate and driven people that are keen to join our team in making a difference to people’s lives. If this sparks an interest, then we want to hear from you!

About us:

Restoring Hope distributes 'Crisis Care Packs' and 'Comfort Care Packs' to young people who have been sexually abused. We exist to ensure that children who have been sexually abused have access to resources at the time they need it most. Restoring Hope works very closely with professionals such as the Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) who work directly with the victim/survivors. The packs contain a teddy bear named `Hope’, new clothing, a colouring book and pencils, a blanket and basic toiletries. These items are designed to provide a level of comfort to the victim in their hour of need.
