When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it affects the whole family. In the daunting and unpredictable experience that follows diagnosis, a child needs as much stability and support from their family as possible. Redkite is a lifeline for families, providing real emotional, financial and practical support. Because holding it together when your child’s life is in question can feel impossible.

The role:

Redkite is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Corporate Partnerships Coordinator who enjoys connecting and engaging with people. This rewarding role is a key liaison with some of Redkite’s biggest corporate partners, including the community team at the Coles Group. This role will see you develop key relationships and implement engagement strategies and activities with corporate partners in Western Australia.

This role would suit a candidate with excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and respond quickly to bring new ideas and activities to life. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative national team and have a passion for meeting new people. You will be the main point of contact for Coles Group team members, organise regular visits to Coles stores and Coles Express sites and be the ‘voice’ for Redkite when you’re out and about visiting our partners.

While charity fundraising experience is not essential, this is an ideal entry level role for the not-for-profit sector and an excellent opportunity to develop and grow your career by stepping into a challenging and varied role.

About you:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Experience in building positive and authentic relationships with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Capability to deliver presentations within both formal and informal settings and learn to speak confidently about Redkite and its work.
  • Ability to develop and adapt communications to respond to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable phone and email communications.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple tasks with shifting and short deadlines
  • Confidence with creative platforms, email, and ability to understand and use a CRM database.
  • Proven success working collaboratively as a part of team to build and improve processes, to share learnings and ideas, and to learn from teammates.
  • Current full driver’s license with own car.
