Based in Fitzroy this role is part time 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday and offered as a fixed term contract of either 3 or 6 months.

The Role and Responsibilities

As the Volunteer Coordinator you’ll have responsibility across recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement of volunteers, and the management of the volunteer program to include:

• Manage the recruitment of volunteers, including onboarding and induction
• Schedule and coordinate volunteer rosters
• Oversee the volunteer program to ensure compliance
• Act as the ‘go-to’ providing a supportive and inclusive environment for volunteers
• Provide monthly reports on the volunteer program, highlighting any roster gaps, potential impacts

About you

The ideal candidate will have experience in volunteer coordination, including recruitment, onboarding, and rostering. With a demonstrated ability to coordinator and supervise volunteers you’ll also possess strong relationships building skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities.
