We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate support workers to join our team to provide support to a person with Mental health issues and some associated challenges. The job location is in Portarlington.

Your role would included community engagement and social support. Supervision of medication and assist to attend medical appointments, meal preparation, shopping and providing general emotional support.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others
• NDIS Screening Check - not essential but highly desirable
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is desired
• experience with support work is preferable
