Rebus Theatre

Duty statement and selection criteria

Rebus Theatre is recruiting for a new member of our management team.

Rebus Theatre is a mixed ability theatre company that creates theatre for social change. We run a range of programs, including ongoing theatre classes, a variety of creative projects and interactive theatre for workplace training around access and inclusion.

The Rebus team consists of an Artistic Director and a Creative Producer on 30 hours a week each, a Finance and Administration Officer on 15 hours a week, a Communications and Administration Officer on 15 hours a week, and a Creative Programs Manager on 20 hours a week. Rebus also employs a number of tutors, trainees and actors on a casual basis. The Creative Producer will be on leave from January 2021 to June 2021.

The Financial and General Manager will work closely with the Finance and Administration Officer who does payroll, monthly reconciliations and day to day financial management, and with our volunteer treasurer. They will report to the Artistic Director, and collaborate with other members of the team.
