The opportunity

RDNS are seeking passionate and reliable Aged Care Workers to support our clients living in their own home. Our ideal candidate will have availability to work Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend shifts, from the hours of 7am to 11pm. We understand that these are extraordinary times, so we will work with you and your available days and times to secure the right position for you!

We have positions available in the North, East, West and South Adelaide metro areas, with day shifts generally between 7am-4pm, and evening shifts 3pm-11pm, note shift work attracts penalty rates.

Key responsibilities

Our Care Workers deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence.   

You will be providing care to our clients at home, services can include;

• Personal Care including general hygiene, toileting, dressing and grooming
• Respite
• Social support including in-home support and shopping
• Support with home-exercises
• Light general housekeeping

About you

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Experience in delivering care to clients in the community desirable
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (HACC), Disability or equivalent
• A current full unrestricted Australian Licence
• Access to a reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third-party insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• The ability to successfully complete a functional assessment
• Unlimited working rights in Australia with the ability to return a satisfactory National Police Clearance as per the Aged Care Act 1999
