Regional Development Australia (RDA) ACT is an independent NFP organisation with a Committee of eight local leaders, focused on economic development.

We are part of a national network of 52 Regional Development Australia Committees, largely funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and Cities, and are currently embarking on an exiting food based strategy for ACT and the region. We are inviting applications from committed, passionate and well-connected people to join our Committee. This is a volunteer role with a 4-year term. We are an equal opportunity NFP organisation and women, people from Indigenous and diverse cultural backgrounds, and people with disability are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key skills being sought would most likely come from experience in one or more of the following fields:

  • Social impact organisations or investment
  • Food industry (farm, food processors, manufacturer, R&D)
  • Indigenous Food and/or Indigenous community relations
  • Sustainability
  • Philanthropy
  • Grants and Government funding
  • Executive Level Management of an NFP Organisation
