About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that uses modern enterprise grade ICT infrastructure and is growing rapidly. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our dynamic, innovative team.  

We are currently working on some exciting projects:

• Continuing migration of on-prem systems to the Microsoft O365 ecosystem – e.g. decommission of on-prem file server.
• MS Teams Calling / Explore cloud based PBX alternatives
• Disaster Recovery / Site Replication
• Upgrade to VMware View 8 (Instant Clones)
• Continued development / optimisation of Windows 10 SOE
• Automation of on-boarding / off-boarding processes
• Replacement of Cisco Network Infrastructure with HPE Aruba / Central
• Cyber Security Review
• Implementation of MFA and AD writeback
• Cloud Computing

As an experienced Systems guru, you will enjoy variety in your role and be keen to develop your professional skills. Whilst you will be involved in project work, you will also work on the development and maintenance of systems such as:

• Virtualisation (VMWare ESXi 6.7U3, VMWare Horizon View 7.11, FSlogix Containers and Profiles)
• Office 365 (ADFS, Microsoft Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD etc)
• PRTG Monitors
• Microsoft Power Apps 
• Microsoft (Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2,2016 and 2019, MS SQL Server 2012 – 2016, WSUS)
• Networking and Security (Cisco L2 / L3 Switching and Route, Cisco ASA, HPE Aruba, Fortigate)
• Backup and Replication (Veeam Backup and Replication, Veeam O365, Zerto)
• Data Centre Computing (Cisco UCS)
• Storage (EMC Unity – All Flash Array
