We have on offer two (2) exciting opportunities for motivated and experienced senior family violence practitioners to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Southern and Eastern Melbourne, with day-to-day support from the Coordinator Family Violence Eastern Melbourne, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality family violence support services and programs through an integrative and co-ordinated practice response when engaged with individuals, women or family that are affected by family violence. You will offer high quality clinical supervision for all allocated family violence staff across Southern and Eastern Melbourne.

We have on offer two (2) ongoing positions available: one (1) full-time position based at our Cranbourne North centre supporting southern metro team and one (1) part-time, 0.8 EFT position based at our Boronia centre supporting the eastern metro team working across Boronia and Kew centres. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work an evening shift on a regular basis.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related social science discipline,
  • Completion of ‘No to Violence’ Graduate Certificate in Male Behaviour Change Group Facilitation through Swinburne University,
  • Experience in the provision of family violence supervision with staff working with men, women and children,
  • Experience in the provision of high-quality assessment of individuals and families, where family violence is an identified risk, and,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,

What we offer

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $101k to $104k per annum (pro-rata for part-time), superannuation and access to salary packaging.
