This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Senior Clinician at our Sunshine centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager West, your responsibilities include providing individual and group clinical supervision to staff at the centre, making professional judgements, offering feedback, support and challenging staff to ensure continuous improvement. In doing so, you will assist the Senior Manager to provide effective and efficient high-quality services and programs in alignment with RAV’s contractual obligations and strategic direction.

This role is at our Sunshine Family Service Provider centre and is permanent, part-time, four (4) days per week.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy with further post graduate qualifications in mental health, family violence, counselling, and family therapy.
  • Five (5) years’ experience undertaking clinical supervision in a similar working environment, supervising/leading a clinical team.
  • Highly developed and demonstrated communication skills, with a particular emphasis on providing constructive and proactive feedback in relation to contemporary practice and improvement.
  • Demonstrated previous experience in working with Family Violence, Mental Health, Child Protection and relevant service sectors.
  • Eligibility for membership of a professional body (APS, AASW or appropriate organisation) is highly desirable.
